Service Production
Dream Team Serve
This team focuses on caring for the Highlands Dream Team Members by providing refreshments, prayer, help with check-in, and encouragement. If you love to serve people, this is the team for you!
Worship Guide Prep Team
This team of friends is having fun putting together the Bulletins so others can take notes, keep up with current events in the Church and worship God with their giving.
Communion Preparation Team
This team prepares for communion and helps others enjoy these sacraments.
Resource Center Team
This team assists guests as they place orders for messages on CD and share the truth of the gospel with thousands.
Prayer Team
This team of trained intercessors covers every area of Church of the Highlands with a specific focus on our weekend and midweek services. Join the team that is blazing the trail for God in Birmingham!
Service Production Team
Bring your passion for technology to this team that films all of our services and special events, creates lighting and sound elements, and supports the services through video and text programs.
Worship Team
his team blazes a pathway for our guests to encounter the Living God. Whether vocally or instrumentally, Highlands Worship team allows everyone to use their gifts to serve God and others.
Online Campus Team
This team impacts nations for Jesus with every keystroke, prayer, and greeting. Church Online provides an opportunity for the world to be impacted by the truth of Jesus Christ and the love of His Church. Join the team making Church global!
Events Team
This group plans and implements special events at Highlands. From national conferences to holidays and services throughout the year, this team hosts guests of Highlands.
Host Team
Greeters Team
This friendly team loves people and enjoys making them feel at home. They serve by opening doors and handing out bulletins in order to welcome guests into an experience with the Lord.
Hospitality Team
This energetic team serves the guests of Highlands with a warm cup of coffee and a smile. Assisting at coffee stations, refilling coffee containers, or greeting in the café are just a few of the opportunities to serve.
Information Center Team
This team serves as a connection point between all guests and what’s going on at Highlands. Offering information, direction, and love are our goals.
Parking Team
This is a fun, rewarding ministry for friendly people who enjoy being outdoors, look good in uniform, and enjoy telling people where to go.
Usher Team
Serving as the mighty men of Highlands, this team prepares people for a positive worship experience by welcoming guests and assisting with seating, communion and offering.
Medical Assistance Team
This team of health care providers helps to triage and administer basic care in the event of an accident or urgent situation during services.
Student Ministries
Children’s Check-In Team
This unique team focuses on checking children and new families into Highlands Kids and Highlands Preschool/Nursery.
Nursery and Pre-school Teams
Join this team in leading children into a dynamic relationship with Jesus. Each week children experience Bible Story time, music, crafts, and other hands-on activities.
Highland Kids Team
This team helps create a place where children are boldly exposed to the love of Jesus. Invest in the lives of children by serving through small groups, worship, videos and skits.
Switch/Switch 56 Team
SWITCH is a one generational meeting that combines Junior and Senior High together into a powerful, unique worship experience. Ministry includes engaging services, age appropriate small groups, retreats, and mission trips.
Special Needs Ministry
This team provides one-on-one care and ministry for guests with special needs at Highlands.
Small Group Leaders
This team is the heart of Church of the Highlands because we believe that real life change happens in the context of relationships. Small groups are the greatest opportunity for you to connect with others, fulfill your passion and live out a life of ministry.
24/7 Home Sponsors
Being a 24/7 home sponsor offers a unique opportunity to invest into the life of a 24/7 student by opening your home and your heart to them for a four month semester.
